Manila, Philippines, February 22, 2022 – Canon today announced the launch of theimageRUNNER ADVANCE (iR-ADV) DX C3800i series, the simple iR C3226i and powerful iR C3222L A3 printers for better workflow efficiency, and the upgraded iR1643i II and iR1643iF II A4 monochrome laser multi-function devices (MFDs). The new and extensive models provide businesses of all sizes with the capabilities to meet varied needs of the hybrid workplace while maximizing productivity in the new normal.

The iR-ADV DX C3800i series comprises four advanced A3 color laser MFDs that integrate seamlessly with uniFLOW Online, a cloud-based print management solution to help businesses drive efficiency in the hybrid workplace. Based on pre-configured workflows, the solution’s Filing Assist automates batch scanning, naming, filing, and routing of documents to various cloud destinations for further processing. The flexible cloud connectivity allows in-office and remote workers to collaborate with ease, while the automated process eliminates error-prone and time-consuming manual filing for greater productivity. With the single-pass document feeder option, the series delivers swift digitization with an industry-leading scan speed of up to 270 images per minute (ipm) and offers four different print speeds of up to 35 pages per minute (ppm) to meet varied operational needs.

The iR C3226i combines a wide array of practical features to help in-office workers maximize productivity amid hybrid working. Built with a user-friendly 7-inch color touch panel display, the MFD offers excellent visibility and easy navigation through various intuitive touch operations. The user interface (UI) presents a smart Timeline feature on the Home Screen that displays the history of settings used, helping users complete routine tasks with one-touch and reduce time spent on repetitive operations. The MFD also provides users with the ability to customize preferences, offering personalization of the initial display screen, display language, and frequently used functions. In addition to print speeds of up to 26 ppm, the MFD helps users work efficiently with various finishing options that lessen the manual collation of printouts, such as Eco-Staple, Staple-On-Demand, and hole punching.

The iR C3222L, with its 5-inch Color Display Panel, packs easy-to-use features that power businesses through routine operations with high productivity. Combining easy wireless connection via QR code, mobile printing, and various one-touch functions, the simple yet powerful MFD helps refine and increase workflow efficiency

It comes pre-installed with an Application Library that includes a range of customizable shortcuts designed to help users increase work efficiency at the tap of a button; and saves time by streamlining routine operations and simplifying frequently performed tasks with up to 12 different practical applications. Users can even create various one-touch solutions depending on individual work requirements, as well as automate time-consuming routine tasks. Plus, it can print up to 22 ppm.

The QR code feature also allows mobile devices to easily connect to the Canon Print Business App. Convenient mobile support lets users preview and print documents on the go, boosting overall productivity of the increasingly mobile workforce.

Furthermore, uniFLOW Online Express rethinks our idea of strong security by deterring unauthorized device access and information leakage with secure user authentication. System verification at startup ensures device security, and protection against malware and tampering of firmware.

These features are also present in the efficient iR1643i II and upgraded iR1643iF II that boast a remarkable print speed of 43 ppm, and high-capacity paper feed of up to 2,300 sheets to help businesses breeze through heavy workloads. Notably, the Cloud Apps allow users to easily print from and scan to various cloud storage destinations, such as Dropbox™ and Google Drive™—without the use of personal computers.
