The Bureau of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (BMSMED) continues to hold free entrepreneurship briefing sessions every Tuesdays at the BMSMED Training Room, 5/F DTI Building, 361 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
This initiative aims to support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary skills to help them respond to the challenges of running a business.
Resource persons coming from government agencies such as DOST’s Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI), University of the Philippines Institute for Small Scale Industries (UPISSI) and Product Development and Design Center of the Philippines (PDDCP) will contribute their expertise to educate the briefing participants on a wide range of business topics.
The briefings are intended to help existing entrepreneurs who want to enhance their operational capabilities and workers who have been displaced, or people whose income have been severely reduced by the global economic crisis.
The topics and dates include:
May 8: How to be an Entrepreneur and Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Law;
May 15: Managing Your Finances and How to Enhance Your Business;
May 22: How to Prepare a Business Plan and Orientation on Shelf Life testing and Nutrition Labeling;
May 29: Product Trends and Design and Expanding One’s Business Through Online Marketing.
