Bangkok, 3 January 2025 – Thai Wah Public Company Limited (TWPC), a leading Southeast Asian agribusiness and food company, has won the prestigious Prime Minister’s Export Award 2024 for Sustainability. Commerce Minister Pichai Naripthaphan presented the award to TWPC at Government House, on behalf of Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

The Prime Minister’s Export Award is the Thai government’s highest recognition for outstanding export businesses. The Sustainability award acknowledges companies that deliver high-quality products while adhering to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economic model.
Thai Wah prioritizes sustainability across its operations, focusing on four key pillars: farmer support, green factories and communities, employee well-being, and product development. Key achievements include the Thai Wah Model for sustainable cassava farming and participation in the T-VER project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating the company’s commitment to Thailand’s carbon neutrality goals.
