The Social Security System (SSS) responded to queries on SSS coverage, membership and benefits from a hundred vendors and stall owners (foreground) during the “Palengke Caravan” at the Muñoz Market in Quezon City on June 22. The state-run pension fund in cooperation with CIS Bayad Center, an accredited SSS collecting partner for members’ contributions and loan amortizations, took part in a joint initiative to offer informal sector workers convenience in remitting monthly payments and widen their access to social security protection.
