A suitcase is more than just a travel essential—it carries memories and stories. Now, yours can take on a new journey by helping others step toward new opportunities. The Travel Club is bringing back Donate Your Old Case for a Cause, happening from March 13 to 16, 2025, at SM Mall of Asia, Eastwood Mall, and Estancia Mall. This initiative allows customers to trade in their pre-loved yet functional luggage and bags in exchange for up to 40% off on select travel gear.
A Meaningful Exchange
Beyond offering exclusive discounts, this initiative serves a greater purpose. In partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), all donated luggage will be given to first-time Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), providing them with durable travel companions as they embark on their new journey abroad.
Exclusive Trade-In Discounts
Customers participating in the trade-in program can enjoy the following discounts:
✔ 15% to 40% off on select collections
✔ 10% off on regular-priced items
The trade-in follows a one-to-one basis:
- One (1) luggage = Discount on one (1) luggage
- One (1) bag = Discount on one (1) bag
Backpacks, messenger bags, and duffel bags can be traded in for discounts on bags. However, if the customer chooses to purchase luggage instead, a lower discount will be applied.
What Items Can Be Traded In?
Donated luggage and bags must be in working condition. Minor wear, such as missing zipper pullers or dents, is acceptable, but items with broken wheels, damaged zippers, or cracked shells will not be accepted. The final assessment of donations will be conducted by The Travel Club team.
How to Participate
- Bring your pre-loved luggage or bag to any participating The Travel Club store.
- Hand it over to a store representative in exchange for a Sale Number Tag (SNT).
- Use your SNT to avail of discounts on featured or regular-priced items.
- Complete your purchase at the cashier.
- If you don’t find the perfect item, you may either reclaim your luggage on the same day or use your SNT for 10% off regular-priced items.
