With some parts of the country in General Community Quarantine, schools have gone ahead with flexible learning arrangements for the school year 2020 to 2021. Despite strict measures to inhibit the spread and infection of COVID-19, the risk of acquiring the virus is still high. On this note, Aldersgate College, Inc. has partnered with Globe for a subscription-based telehealth service that puts premium to immediate and accessible health care.
Through the partnership, Aldersgate College, Inc. acquired a fixed budget plan for KonsultaMD, which is a subscription-based telehealth service that offers primary care via digital management of health records and video consultation. This plan includes unlimited access to licensed Filipino doctors round-the-clock, consultation via video or voice call, general health information and medical advice, mental health and first aid support, and special offers or discounts with partner establishments.
“As the Covid-19 Pandemic continues to devastate the world, employers in both large and small companies are faced with unprecedented circumstances that challenge the effectiveness of their employees. At Aldersgate College, alternative work arrangements, physical distancing procedures, and travel restrictions are strictly observed, as health and safety of our employees remain our priority. Despite our efforts to undertake measures required by authorities to protect our employees’ welfare, the probability of illness cannot be taken for granted and being sick at such a time when mobility is restricted, poses a considerable problem. Thanks to KonsultaMD of Globe, our corporate subscription is a very timely and efficient way to re-assure our employees of immediate access to medical assistance and remote consultation from licensed Filipino doctors 24/7, for them and their families during illness. Together, let us navigate the New Normal!” shares Prescilla Esperanza A. Soriano, Ph.D., President of Aldersgate College, Inc.
