Leading real estate platform Lamudi will hold its fourth year of the annual Broker Awards Night on March 19, 2020, at Makati Shangri-La. The event serves as a venue for real estate professionals and companies to get together and celebrate each other’s achievements for the past year in real estate.

The property industry has been enjoying a steady upward trend, spurred by growing demand not only in Metro Manila but also in provincial cities. According to Lamudi’s 2019 data, the young “millennial” generation aged 25-34 is in the lead in terms of interest in property, followed by those aged 35-44 years old. To respond to this growing demand, the supply of real estate listings has also seen a great increase.

Looking at the listings on Lamudi to compare the first quarter of 2018 to the first quarter of 2019, Quezon City, the city with the most number of listings in 2019, had more than doubled its number of listings on the platform. Paranaque, another popular real estate hotspot, also saw similar growth. Meanwhile, a comparison of the fourth quarter of 2018 to the fourth quarter of 2019 shows Makati had a 36% increase in supply.

Rising to Meet Real Estate Demands

The Philippines’ relatively young property market and the growing real estate appetite of Filipinos here and abroad have given real estate professionals an opportunity to turn the spotlight on their properties for sale and for rent. On average, Lamudi receives 1.5M monthly site visits and 6.6M monthly pageviews on all its listings, helping real estate professionals take their businesses internationally.

The platform’s easy-to-use setup, as well as its leading position in digital marketing, makes it a powerful tool for brokers, brokerages, developers, and even individual sellers who have decided to take their business online–where property seekers are looking for a house, condominium, apartment, land, foreclosed property, or commercial space.

Making Dreams Come True for Brokers and Their Clients

Last year, Jamicha Villanueva from Bohol was one of the brokers awarded the Best Lamudi Success Story. Villanueva’s humble dream of retiring in her own farm took her to the real estate path, leading to the establishment of her own company, Elite 8 Property Solutions, Inc.

Villanueva shared through the Lamudi Success Story series that the exposure her company received from Lamudi’s free ad was beating the paid social media ads she signed up for. Given this initial impression, Villanueva considered how much more powerful a Lamudi subscription would be. Villanueva received leads as early as a week after signing up.

“Before I joined Lamudi, I had a dream of owning a farm,” Villanueva shares. “We would have a farm and live a laid-back life compared to today’s hectic life.” According to her, she achieved her goals after just three months of being a Lamudi certified partner.

Property seekers aspire for a particular lifestyle when they look for properties, and brokers who are able to connect with their target market in this regard will have a higher chance of success. For Villanueva, it paid off.

“Lamudi opens more doors for you, and we’re really thankful that we joined Lamudi,” Villanueva concludes.
