LTO Announces Office Operations Schedule for the Holiday Season

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced its office operations schedule for the holiday season, in line with officially declared holidays and government advisories.

According to the agency, the availability of LTO services during the holidays will depend on whether specific dates are classified as regular holidays or special non-working days. Motorists and clients are advised to monitor official LTO announcements to avoid inconvenience when planning in-person transactions.

To help ease congestion at LTO offices, the agency encouraged the public to maximize the use of the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) portal, where select transactions can be completed online. Services available through the LTMS portal include license applications, renewals, and other motor vehicle-related services, depending on eligibility.

In anticipation of increased travel during the holiday season, the LTO also reminded motorists to prioritize road safety. Drivers are urged to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before traveling, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and engine fluids.

The agency further emphasized the importance of strictly following traffic laws, avoiding reckless driving, and staying alert on the road to help prevent accidents during peak travel periods.

The LTO reiterated its commitment to public service and road safety, encouraging motorists to plan their trips ahead of time, use digital services such as the LTMS portal when possible, and stay informed through official government channels.
