Advancing ‘Optimism Your Feed’ Global Campaign that encourage Quality and Positive content on Social Media
Bangkok, 16 December 2024 – LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. created an excitement among young generations with the success of the LG Campus Ambassador program, which provided opportunities for over 300 students from leading Thai universities nationwide. With an investment of 3.6 million baht, the program selected 31 talented students to participate in intensive content creation workshops, developing in-depth skills regarding technical aspects, storytelling, and marketing strategies to bring out their full potential and become top tier content creators in the future. Through rigorous 6-month activities, participants demonstrated their potential and learned powerful content creator skills. The project not only promotes positive online content but also reflects LG’s ‘Life’s Good.’ commitment to enhancing everyone’s quality of life in the digital era, while providing scholarships and LG Gram laptops worth over 750,000 baht, supporting the students to continue their creative work.

In addition, this project not only helps LG gain deeper insights into Gen Z behaviors and thought processes but also delivers on our ‘Life’s Good.’ mission across all dimensions.”
The six-month program featured workshops designed to enhance knowledge regarding content production, storytelling, and effective communication tools. Participants gained unique experiences, including working with a team of experts and hands-on campaign creation, contextual understanding, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Program highlights included awards in three main categories: Top Performance Award won by Mr. Nattapon Ruaypirom, a first-year student from Bangkok University; The Best Content Creator awarded to Ms. Wimonnat Deethianin, a first-year student from Panyapiwat Institute of Management; and The Best Creative Content claimed by Ms. Waranya Hantale, a second-year student from Panyapiwat Institute of Management. Each award reflected individual capabilities and creative concepts aligned with the ‘Optimism Your Feed’ campaign. LG provided 20,000-baht scholarships to all participants and awarded LG Gram laptops to the three category winners to support their future educational and professional development.

The LG Campus Ambassador project’s success in this year marks just the beginning. LG plans to expand the program to reach more universities and fields of study in 2025, enhancing workshop activities to deliver valuable experiences and help push Gen Z’s potential even further.
