The Liveable Cities Challenge, in cooperation with the British Embassy and Globe Telecom, is set to launch its LCC dashboard that aims to provide an interactive visual profile of the 146 cities in the country.

The LCC dashboard will contain multi-year data on Basic Information; Labor; Education; Local Economy; Doing Business; Mobility and Connectivity; Health; Urban Environment; Resiliency and Emergency Response; and; Safety and Security of the cities.

The LCC dashboard utilizes data and innovation to enable local governments to easily spot trends and correlations for effective decision-making and help them diagnose areas for improvement. Through the LCC dashboard, local government units (LGUs) can effectively engage stakeholders, including city and national agencies, businesses, academe, NGOs and citizens.

British Ambassador to the Philippines Daniel Pruce and Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez will lead the launching of the LCC Dashboard while local executives such as Mayor Evelio Leonardia of Bacolod City, Mayor Oscar Moreno of Cagayan de Oro, Mayor Abby Binay of Makati City, Mayor Richard Gomez of Ormoc City, Mayor Vico Sotto of Pasig City, Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City, Mayor Beng Climaco of Zamboanga City, Mayor Bernard Dy of Cauayan City, and John Tully of Delivery Associates will also be present during the event.

The virtual launch is scheduled on April 27 from 3-5pm with LCC Chairman Bill Luz as host of the program.

This innovative project is also made possible in partnership with the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI), the League of Cities of the Philippines, the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), and dashboard provider, the Delivery Associates.
