Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), a subsidiary of the Asticom Group of Companies, amplified its fiber rollout last year, deploying more than 133,400 lines as of December 2022.
The rollout covers areas in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon, including Cavite Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, Mindoro, Palawan and Bicol.
The accomplishment was achieved in just 15 months since the company’s launch, bringing high-speed internet access to thousands of households across the Philippines.
“FINSI will continue its work in connecting homes throughout the country. We aim to continuously grow to provide innovative services to our clients and serve more Filipinos,” said Marc Kerveillant, FINSI General Manager.
To support its rapid expansion, FINSI is seeking to hire more people and open up more opportunities for Filipinos with a focus on utilizing Filipino talent with world-class expertise in the telecommunications field.
FINSI provides engineering and infrastructure solutions to industries beyond telco. It plans to expand into the energy and infrastructure sectors in the future as part of its continued growth.
The company also makes use of its expertise to assist in disaster recovery efforts. It helped restore 19,000 damaged communication lines to reconnect residents in Cebu when Typhoon Odette struck the area in 2021.
“Asticom, together with all of our subsidiaries, exists for the improvement of Filipino lives. This includes efforts in helping our fellow Filipinos transition to digital, turning our country into a more connected nation,” said Asticom Group of Companies President and CEO, Mharicar Castillo-Reyes.
In addition to its engineering and tech solutions, FINSI offers a range of services to its clients including Project Management and Implementation, Network and Infrastructure Management, Quality and Safety Management and Assurance, and Consulting services.
