Abu Dhabi International Hunting And Equestrian Exhibition Goes To Riyadh, Saudi Arabia To Promote Sustainable Hunting In Order To Strengthen Saudi Arabian-Emirati Relations And Publicize Abu Dhabi's Efforts

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is participating in the second edition of the Saudi Falcons & Hunting Exhibition 2019 that is taking place from the 11th to 15th October in Riyadh.

Organised by the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX supports Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2019 to reinforce Saudi and Emirati relations in terms of culture, heritage, and tourism. It is also to define ADIHEX’s regional efforts in the consolidation of the concepts of sustainable hunting and bring about ecological balance. Led by the Higher Organizing Committee of ADIHEX, this marks the beginning of an international roadshow where EFC facilitates further growth of ADIHEX in its upcoming edition in September 2020 through participation in various activations and events around the world.

The Higher Organizing Committee of ADIHEX visited the Saudi Falcons & Hunting Exhibition 2019, in the presence of His Excellency Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary General of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, who was elected with a great majority by the delegates as President of the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey (IAF).

On this occasion, Al Mansouri said, “Bless our brothers in Saudi Arabia for this success in development and organization, as the success of Saudi Arabia is the success of the UAE and the whole region. Our ADIHEX stand in the exhibition reflects the strength of Saudi and UAE relations, and the depth of ties between Emiratis and Saudis including their love for sports of hunting and equestrian, which links them to culture, heritage and traditions. Moreover, our deep ties with these two sports also highlight their place in the heritage of the two countries as they are rooted in the history of the region.”

“ADIHEX has transformed into the biggest hunting and equestrian and heritage preservation exhibition in the region. With its accumulative experience throughout 17 successful editions, it is now firmly established as an international cultural, heritage and entertainment festival that attracts more than 120 nationalities from all over the world year after year. Each year, we assess the exhibitor and visitor experience at the show to build on their feedback and ensure that we develop the following edition into a bigger, better and more versatile event. It will be our pleasure as EFC to support our brothers in the Saudi Falcons and Hunting Club, and collaborate with them to keep developing hunting and equestrian and efforts to preserve heritage and to conserve the environment.” Al Mansouri added.

ADIHEX received a huge number of visitors at the stand in the second edition of the Saudi Falcons and Hunting exhibition. These visitors have signified interest to learn more about what’s new in the 2020 edition and some of them have booked exhibiting spaces for the 18^th edition of ADIHEX from now. This highlights the success of the recently concluded 17^th edition of ADIHEX on all levels, in which the exhibition received 115,194 thousand visitors to the 11 sectors and activations of the exhibitions within 5 days. There was also participation of more than 650 local and international brands and companies in which the onsite sales value reached 70 Million Dirhams.
