Recently, these tech companies hosted their first free seminar, in partnership with the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), in a bid to help human resource practitioners in driving the employee experience of the future.

The event focused on “Tsunami of HR Changes: Redefining Employee Experience of the Future.” It gathered more than 80 HR executives and decision-makers from various organizations across Metro Manila to share valuable insights on the latest trends in HR.

Among the guests, who graced the event was Rene Gener, DPM, executive director of PMAP. He noted that in today’s digital shift, it is integral for HR practitioners to refresh their knowledge of the latest HR technologies. He said that “these tools are now changing our workplaces as organizations integrate them into their operations to streamline HR tasks.”

Sharing his views, Harsh Vardhan, Chief Marketing & Ecosystem Officer of Ramco Systems, opined “HR technology plays an enhanced role in the digital landscape. As these digital technologies thrive, they also become instrumental in preparing the workplace, as well as the workforce, to embrace the tsunami of changes ahead. It urges HR professionals to re-design their own function and ride on the wave of change rather than being swamped by it.”

Aside from discussing the role of technology, other resource speakers also highlighted valuable insights and best practices in HR. Among these speakers were Eric Riego De Dios, Human Resource Director of Baker McKenzie Global Services; Jeffrey John Dela Cerna, HR Head of National Grid Corporation of the Philippines; and Pryncess Esguerra, HR Operations Director of JG Summit Holdings, Inc.

GenieTech, together with its partners, continue conducting similar free sessions in the coming months to provide a venue for HR practitioners to learn and share their insights.

“As a company, we are serious with our aim to help transform how HR works in the Philippines. We believe that we can make this goal a reality through these free learning sessions,” said Allan Aniversario, Sales Head for Ramco HCM of GenieTech.
